Wheatland, Missouri (July 26, 2017) – Fans will have an exciting, new opportunity to experience the power and speed of the Lucas Oil Drag Boat Racing Series at this fall’s 7th Annual Diamond Drag Boat Nationals at Lucas Oil Speedway.

The new all-inclusive VIP “Top Eliminator Club” includes all three-days of the Sept. 1-3 event on “Lake Lucas” with prime viewing from a designated shaded area near the starting line. It will include amenities to make the weekend at the drag boat races a one-of-a-kind experience.

“This is something that the Lucas Oil Drag Boat Racing Series has done at some other facilities, like Marble Falls, Texas, and Chandler, Arizona. We think it’ll be perfect for our fans and we’re excited to offer it for the first time,” Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson said.

The three-day ticket is priced for $179 and, in addition to admission and a seat in the shaded viewing area, it will include: A continental-style breakfast, lunch and light hors d’oeuvres each day; two non-alcohol drink tickets per day (soda or energy drink); two alcohol drink tickets per day (beer, wine or basic mixed drinks); unlimited free water; dedicated cash bar with hostess and a gift bag.

“The Diamond Drag Boat Nationals always is one of our most-exciting weekends of the year, with the world’s fastest boats putting on a great show,” Robinson said. “If you’ve ever wanted to see the boats up-close in an ideal setting, this is a chance to do so with a prime view of the starting line.”

Along with multiple sportsman divisions, there will be five pro divisions in action, including the 260 mile-per-hour Top Fuel Hydro boats. Qualifying runs are scheduled each day with action starting at 9 a.m., with morning and afternoon sessions. Final eliminations are set for 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 3.

In addition to the Diamond Drag Boat Nationals, the Lucas Oil MLRA Late Model Series will be in action at the Lucas Oil Speedway dirt track on Saturday night, Sept. 2, with the Larry Phillips Memorial. Fans with tickets to the boat races that day, including “Top Eliminator Club,” will be admitted free to the dirt track.

Lucas Oil Speedway is located at Highways 83 and 54 in Wheatland, Missouri. A campground with shower and bathroom facilities is also available. With its entrance located just outside the pit gate this sprawling scenic camping facility will continue to enhance the racing experience at the Diamond of Dirt Tracks.
