Corona, CA (March 13, 2018) – Along with the other unbelievably fast and loud Professional classes that will be competing in this Nationally-televised event, we have the equally exciting Sportsman categories. In all, more than 150 drag racing boats are expected for this historic event April 20-22nd.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Battle in Bakersfield Drag Boat information booth at March Meet in Famoso this past weekend. The response was overwhelming. Like all of you, we are excited that the “Nitrochondriac” World Champion Top Fuel team out of Oklahoma, the former world speed record holder “Speed Sports Special” from St Louis, and California’s “Locked & Loaded” are already pre-registered and will be fighting for the first win of the 2018 season. For those new to drag boats, these 10,000 horsepower beasts accelerate to over 270 MPH in under 3.5 seconds, and will be thundering across Lake Ming for the first time in a decade. Along with the other unbelievably fast and loud Professional classes that will be competing in this Nationally-televised event, we have the equally exciting Sportsman categories. In all, more than 150 drag racing boats are expected for this historic event April 20-22nd.

Tickets start at $10 on Friday, $20 on Saturday, and $25 on Sunday; or get a Super Saver weekend pass for just $40! All tickets are available at the gate.
