GEICO

Corona, CA (Jan. 15, 2018) - GEICO, one of the nation's premier auto insurers, will continue to maintain a strong presence in motorsports through an extension of its commitments to Team Lucas events for the ninth consecutive year.

According to Vince Giampietro, Senior Manager of Experimental Marketing and Brand Management at GEICO, it is a strategy that works well. "The reach of Team Lucas's one-of-a-kind programming gives our brand an important presence in the automotive racing world and is well-targeted to our audience," he said.

In 2018, GEICO will again serve as Presenting Sponsor of the bone-rattling, high-flying Lucas Oil Off Road Series with additional major involvement in the Lucas Oil Pulling League, Lucas Oil Drag Boat Racing Series, Lucas Oil Modified Series, Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and the Chili Bowl, America's premier indoor sprint car event. It also will retain a presence at Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the NFL's Indianapolis Colts.

That involvement will give GEICO an on-site presence at more than 150 Team Lucas promotions, many of them nationally-televised on CBS, CBS Sports Network, NBC Sports Network and the 24-hour-a-day MAVTV Motorsports Network with additional exposure on the web-based Lucas Oil Racing TV.

Accumulatively, GEICO will benefit from more than 400 hours of TV coverage plus 35 live streams, all part of a corporate strategy in which Team Lucas creates alliances between Lucas Oil Products, Inc., and select marketing partners like GEICO to enhance brand awareness, maximize television event coverage and heighten family-friendly experiences.

"We are honored and very pleased that GEICO has decided to extend its partnership with Team Lucas for another year," said Lucas Oil Executive Vice-President Bob Patison. "Support from tremendous partners such as GEICO make the whole Team Lucas concept a reality."
